Chapter 04 – Feasibility studies

An analysis and evaluation of a proposed project to determine if it is technically feasible, it is feasible within the estimated cost, and will be economically viable. Feasibility studies are almost always conducted where large sums are at stake as this is the case for investments in the field of energy production, energy efficiency or energy saving. This Chapter presents examples of feasibility studies related to the investments described in chapter 4 as well as for planned projects funded outside the project budget. All studies have been carried out during the project. They have been done in national language. As part of the compendium English language abstracts can be downloaded in this section of the compendium.
