The Szewalski Institute (PL)Video podcast: energy-related projects in city of Gdańsk

Gdańsk, a city with 1,000 years of history, promotes innovations and technologies focused on the future challenges. In the field of energy we are faced with the challenge concerning EU Directive on self-sufficient energy buildings. Since 2018, public buildings must meet the criterion of energetic self-sufficiency. And two years later, from 2020, this criterion will include all newly constructed buildings. The Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery, Polish Academy of Science, in Gdańsk with the coordinated Baltic Eco-Energy Cluster is involved in many projects (including PEA BSR project) concerning renewable energy sources. The Institute works in this field with many partners of Baltic Eco-Energy Cluster including Energa group and Towarzystwo Ziemskie in Gdansk.
